A Story of Sins Forgiven

This message is the first in a series of Advent messages given by Mike Osborne in 2008. The series, entitled “The Christmas You’ve Always Longed For,” highlights five characters in Luke 1 & 2: Zechariah, Mary, Simeon, Anna, and the shepherds.

This first message focuses on the song of Zechariah in Luke 1:67-80, often called the Benedictus (Latin for “praise”). Find out how Jesus Christ has rescued us from three of our most daunting spiritual enemies.
