Susan Sundeen, Missionary Monterrey, Mexico

Susan Sundeen - Monterrey, Mexico

Susan is currently serving with Mission to the World (MTW) in Monterrey, Mexico. She was born and raised in Minnesota, majored in Spanish at the University of Utah, and earned her master’s degree in library science from the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

Susan has served with the Monterrey team since 1996, where she has seen God turn the first church planting efforts into a rapidly growing church planting movement.

She was the principal coordinator of the short-term MTW-Impact teams, groups which often return time and again because of the exciting vision and progress of the Mexican Church in the northeastern region.

Susan also enjoys training teachers for children’s ministries, and discipling women in the church in areas of living in grace and friendship evangelism.

Susan is now investing more time in developing, maintaining, and promoting use of materials in the resource center for church planters located in Monterrey.

Susan works with seminary professors who are also on the Monterrey team.

Susan reports to us praises for God’s wonderful provision! He has given her a great living situation, a car, and the medication she needs which are often hard to find outside of the United States.
