Robert & Lisa Stewart

As educators, Robert and Lisa are pleased to use their gifts to educate missionary children. Robert has served with the “Mission to the World” Tokyo team as headmaster of Keiyo Christian School since 1997.

Lisa first came to Japan on a two-week mission trip in 1999. She returned with MTW/ Impact later that year to teach the missionary children. Both Robert and Lisa hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in the field of education. After marrying in 2002, Robert and Lisa and their newest addition, William, returned to Japan as career missionaries in the spring of 2004.

As members of the MTW Tokyo team, Robert and Lisa share the vision of a thriving, reproducing presbytery in the Tokyo area of Japan. Toward that end, Robert and Lisa share the gospel with Japanese people through teaching English, building friendships, and facilitating the ministry of other team members. New Church Building
