There is a darker side to Christmas. Beneath the glitter and dazzle that often pass for Christmas, there is the suffering Savior who came into this world to identify with our suffering. Shortly after his birth, Jesus was exposed to the injustice and violence of this world. The flight to Egypt, the slaughter of the innocents, and the settlement in Nazareth are good news for the afflicted. In this message on the fourth Sunday of Advent, Mike Osborne explains why.
