Kingdom Man of the Month for August - John O'Shaughnessy
I became a Christian as a senior in college through the testimony of a roommate who had also recently accepted Christ. I have been married to Kathy for 28 years, however, I have known her since I was 14 years old. We do not have any children.
I have been serving Christ at UPC through the diaconate as well as being involved with the Life Care Ministry for 6 years and taking on a leadership role there for the past year. I have always enjoyed being with the elderly and ever since I had to make the decision to put my mother into a nursing home before she passed on, I have been concerned for those who are living out their golden years in a nursing facility.
I have been employed as an MRI Tech for 24 years.
