Chuck Bergen
Kingdom Man of the Month - December 2011
Born and raised in the state of West Virginia, I am a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University currently enrolled at Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando, and, Lord-willing, I'll graduate in May 2012 with a Master of Divinity degree. I have been attending UPC since my first official Sunday in Orlando over three years ago, and have been an intern at the church since mid-2009. Currently I am serving the church in a variety of ways through Adult Education, LIFE Groups, High School Youth and in the Worship ministry.
My wife Bethany and I have been married for 2.5 years and even though we are far away from home, we feel that our LIFE Group is our family here. I am an avid sports enthusiast and love to participate in, talk about and read about sports, probably a little bit too much! I am also an avid fan of beard-growing, if you can't tell!
It has been a great blessing from God to put Bethany and I here in the UPC family to serve Christ alongside some of our closest friends and to spread the Gospel message in the Orlando area. We look forward to being here for at least the next 6 months and are excited for what God has in store for us after that, whatever it may be!
