Getting to know our Kingdom Man of the Month for February:  Lane Cohee

Lane Cohee

Lane Cohee has demonstrated hard work and determination as he has led our strategic team to great success. For the past 9 months, Lane has helped this team strategically think and plan for the future of UPC. He spent countless hours leading meetings, putting together an organized presentation, and also communicating this vision to the church. He has done all this while managing with his wife, Cheryl, a house of 3 young boys (Chase, Cale, and Chane), driving from his home in Melbourne (1.5 hours away!), and serving as program manager at Harris Corporation. Not to mention, Lane taught an adult Sunday School class in the month of January on "What We Believe about the Bible (add a link to this class)." Congratulations Lane for receiving this award and thank you for your hard work!

Q. #1: What superhero would you like to be? Why?

Lane's Response: Johnny Storm.. He can turn his powers on and off at will, he can fly, he doesn't have a lot of guilt/responsibility hangups like most heroes...he can torch buildings but he can light a candle for his girlfriend just as easily. He's a free spirit, and I like the cocky/playboy direction they took him in the movies.

Q. #2: What would you do if you were held at gunpoint?

Lane's Response: I've always pictured doing a gun takeaway, but I was once pontificating about it to my officemate when he told me he was held up while working in a store, and totally froze in fear. He told me not to speculate on it because you have no idea what you'd really do. I believe him.

Q. #3: Would you rather jump out of an airplane or wrestle an alligator?

Lane's Response: If I had a parachute, I'd try the airplane, but if I had no chute, I'd take my chances with the gator...
