Prayer Team

The purpose of the Prayer Team at UPC is to:

• First - To Pray. We are commited to seeking the Lord's face and will for the life and function of UPC and the outpouring of the gospel throughout the world.
• Second - To encourage others to cultivate a life of prayer.

Joining the UPC Prayer Team

Are you called to join the UPC Prayer Team? We are always looking for people with a heart for prayer and people who are happy to be doing 'behind the scene' ministry.Prayer Opportunities

We meet the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month from 6:00 - 7:00 pm to pray for the personal needs of those attending UPC, the life and ministry of our leaders, the different ministries of the church and many other special events happening locally and globally. These prayer times incorporate the mission of UPC:

• Knowing God - by spending time in corporate prayer, we learn to know God better as we seek His face.
• Growing Together - as we spend time praying together, we get to know each other's hearts and get to join with our brothers and sisters in Christ to seek the Lord together. 
• Serving Others - by praying for the requests of our congregation.

• National Day of Prayer - this is a great opportunity to join with local people to pray for our nation as a whole.
• The Persecuted Church - let us remember the many people around the world suffering persecution for their faith.
