The Imbrocks

Dave and Sue serve with Global Hope Network (GHN), a humanitarian outreach organization founded by Dr. Bill Bright. GHN offers a two-handed approach of compassionate, meaningful help and lasting hope to the world’s least reached, overlooked or difficult to access people groups. The assistance they bring opens doors that are frequently closed to other organizations. Once in a country, people often ask what motivates the Imbrocks to help them. Their answer begins with “the Hope that is within us...”, GHN has organized 100+ projects in more than 30 countries.

The Imbrocks live in France, a few miles from Geneva, Switzerland, where Dave has two roles. In the first, as Global Chief of Operations, he trains GHN resident staff in eight countries and helps coordinate their work. As Europe Director, Dave and Sue lead a team of eight and network with European nationals to mobilize people and resources to help hidden and hurting people. This also presents ministry opportunities among students & professionals who are highly attracted by the opportunity to help others.

Sue is also the project manager for an ongoing community development / microenterprise project in Bosnia-Herzegovina that teaches marketable sewing skills to 30+ women in three cities. Before moving to Europe in 2002, the Imbrocks spent 15 years as missionaries in Africa and eight years in Orlando as members at UPC. Their family includes Spencer, who is a church youth intern in Geneva, and Laura, who is a first grade teacher in Raleigh, NC.
